Dataflexnet Team Returns From New York Energised by New Opportunities

During the week of 17th November, a senior delegation from Dataflexnet — Greg Thompson, Andy Thwaites, and Andrew Unwin — travelled to New York City for a strategically important visit centred around the Annual CPI Global Conference, the premier gathering for leaders across the commercial payments ecosystem.

The week proved to be one of the most productive trips the team has undertaken, combining high-level partner meetings, industry engagement, and new relationship-building with a broad network of issuers, schemes, fintech innovators, and technology providers.

A Strong Presence at the CPI Global Conference

CPI Global Conference 2025 - Convene - New York

The CPI Global Conference at Convene remains a cornerstone event for the commercial payments sector, and Dataflexnet’s presence this year was more prominent than ever. Throughout the conference, our team connected with many long-standing partners as well as new entrants to the market who were keen to learn more about Dataflexnet’s enhanced data services, virtual card technologies, and expanding global capabilities.

With sessions covering automation, enriched transaction data, ESG considerations, and the future of corporate payments, the conference offered timely insight into the opportunities shaping the next generation of payment solutions. The team’s discussions with attendees continually reinforced that Dataflexnet is well positioned to support — and in many cases lead — these industry shifts.

High-Level Meetings With Global Network Partners

In addition to the conference itself, the trip featured several key partner engagements.

A major highlight was our Quarterly Business Review (QBR) with Discover, an important session that allowed both teams to reflect on recent achievements and define clear, forward-looking objectives for 2026. The alignment between Discover and Dataflexnet continues to strengthen, and this QBR reinforced the shared vision for delivering even more value to corporate clients globally.

The team also held significant meetings with Mastercard, discussing how Dataflexnet’s platform and enhanced data capabilities can support emerging priorities across commercial propositions. These conversations were extremely positive and opened several avenues for deeper collaboration in the year ahead.

Engaging With the Broader Payments Community

Dataflexnet was also pleased to be invited to the Visa CPI evening event, which provided an excellent environment to deepen relationships with partners and build new connections within the wider industry. The informal setting encouraged open dialogue, and the team came away with fresh ideas and new contacts that will be important as we broaden our international engagement.

Across the week, Greg, Andy, and Andrew spoke with numerous regular attendees of the CPI community — many of whom highlighted Dataflexnet’s increasing reputation for innovation, reliability, and partnership excellence. This recognition further validates the company’s strategic direction and reinforces the value of the work being carried out across our teams.

Energised for 2026 and Beyond

The team returned from New York extremely energised, carrying with them a renewed sense of momentum and a long list of promising commercial and strategic opportunities. These conversations underscored the growing demand for intelligent data solutions and flexible virtual card capabilities — areas where Dataflexnet continues to excel.

As we build on the insights and opportunities uncovered during the trip, we look forward to updating our partners and clients on the exciting developments ahead.

Dataflexnet remains committed to driving innovation, deepening global partnerships, and delivering the next evolution of enhanced data and commercial payment technologies.
